Show Documents Search turns the Web and Documents tabs of your hosted search page on or off. The Documents tab searches the PDFs and other documents in your index: Web and Documents tabs.
On or off
- On, the default: Web and Documents tabs. Visitors switch between web pages and documents.
- Off: No tabs, web search only. The tabs are replaced by a plain Search label, and every search covers web pages only.
Turn it off when your index has no documents, or when you want visitors to see only your pages.
Change it
- Open Search Tuning in the settings of your index.
- Under Show Documents Search, click On or Off. It is saved at once.
