Opensolr Notes documentation

Text notes on your phone and in your own Opensolr Index, found by words and by meaning.

Welcome!

Opensolr Notes is a free, open source Android app for text notes. Every note is saved on the phone and in an Opensolr Index of your own, gets a two-word category from Opensolr AI, and is found by words and by meaning: in the app, on a password-protected search page on the web, and through a chat that quotes your notes.

It needs an Opensolr account.

The app signs in with your Opensolr account and keeps your notes in an index of that account. The free account is enough; the parts that use AI (search by meaning, categories, the chat) count against the AI use of your plan.
