Restart Solr Service

Restart Solr Service restarts Solr on your own dedicated server. The button exists only for indexes on a dedicated server.

01 · Steps

1. Open the control panel of an index on your dedicated server and click Tools.
2. Under Utilities, click Restart Solr Service.
3. Confirm “Are you sure you want to restart the Solr Service?”.

02 · What it affects

Solr restarts for the whole server, so every index on it stops answering until Solr is back up. Your documents and configuration stay as they are.

Indexes on shared servers do not have this button. To make one index read its configuration again, use Reload.
