Take a copy of your backups with you

Every backup of your Opensolr Index is a file you can download. Keep the ones you need for longer than 7 days, or store a copy of your data somewhere of your own.

Download

1. Open the index in the Control Panel and click Backup.
2. Click the file name of a backup under Available Backup Files to download it. Or click Browse Backup Files to open the folder with all the backups of the index.
3. When asked, sign in with the username and password of your index.

Good to know

• The username and password are the ones in the Security tab of the index: HTTP Basic Auth. If you changed them, use the new ones.
• Backup files are removed after 7 days.
