Solr Admin Replication: Leader and Replica Status

How the copies of a cluster go

Replication: the copies of a cluster

In a cluster, your updates go to the leader and the replicas copy the changed files from it. The Replication tab shows how those copies go.

A replica of a cluster: who it copies from and how the last copies went.

01 · On a replica

  • Status: OK, replicating now, last attempt FAILED or no replication yet.
  • Leader: the address the replica copies from.
  • Last attempt, Last OK replication, Last failed replication and Next poll.
  • Polling and Poll interval: whether the replica checks the leader, and how often.
  • Times replicated, Times failed, how much the last copy downloaded and how long it took.
  • While a copy runs: progress, files, speed and time left.
  • Last attempts: the latest copies, each marked OK or failed.

02 · Leader or single index

On a leader, or on an index that is not part of a cluster, the tab shows the role, whether replication is enabled and when the leader offers new files to its replicas.

03 · Versions

The table at the top compares the version and generation of the index with those of its leader. When the replica has caught up, the numbers are the same.
