Opensolr is managed Apache Solr hosting. You create Opensolr Indexes in the cloud and send them your data; Opensolr runs the servers, the security and the upkeep.
01 · Where your index runs
You pick the region and the Solr version
Once, when you create the index. The list in Solr › Add New Index is always the current one: Regions. Solr versions below 8 are retired on 01/01/2027.
Every index is private
Each index has its own username and password and its own IP rules: Security.
02 · What you pay for
A plan is made of four parts

At opensolr.com/register, with an email address and a password.
Create an index
Solr › Add New Index: pick a region and a name.
Bring your configuration, or keep the default
Upload your schema and config files in the Configuration tab of the index: Configuration.
