Reload
Reload makes your Opensolr Index read its configuration files again. Your documents are not touched.
01 · You rarely need it
Saving a file in the editor and uploading a configuration ZIP already reload the index by themselves: Configuration. Click Reload when you want the index to read its files once more, for example after you fixed the error a save reported.
02 · Steps
- Open the control panel of the index and click Tools.
- Under Utilities, click Reload.
- A window shows Success, or Error with the reason and a View Error Log button.
An error means Solr could not load the configuration, most often because of a mistake in schema.xml or solrconfig.xml. The full message is in the Error Log.
