Live Query Stream

Every request, as it happens

Every request, as it happens

The Live Query Stream shows each request to your Opensolr Index the moment it arrives. Use it to see what your site or app really sends, and to catch slow queries.

Start it

  1. Open the index in the Control Panel and click Live Query Stream.
  2. Click Start. The status changes from Disconnected and requests start to arrive.
  3. Click Stop when you are done. Clear Data empties the chart and the tables.

What you see

  • SOLR QUERY VOLUME: a live chart of requests over time.
  • SOLR QUERY STREAM: one row per request, with Timestamp, Path, Params, Hits, QTime (s) and Status.
  • SLOWEST QUERIES: the requests slower than the threshold you pick under Slow Queries, from 0.01 to 1 second.

Click a row to open Query Parameters: the full query string and a table of every parameter.

Filter

  • Path Filter (regex), for example /select.
  • Params Filter (regex), for example q=.*.
  • Status: All, OK or ERROR.

Sorting the table by a column pauses the stream. Clear the sort to let new requests in again.
