Solr configs, relevance tuning, schema design, crawling, RAG pipelines, integrations. Generic Solr and RAG questions are as welcome as Opensolr ones — you don't need an account with us.

Horror stories

The migration that went sideways, the relevance change that ate a week, the index that died at the worst moment. These are the threads everyone learns from — and if something in Opensolr caused it, we want it posted so we can fix it in the open.

02 Why in the open

Support tickets help one person. Threads help everyone.

Account-specific issues still go to support, where they're fixed fastest. Everything else belongs in public: an answered thread is indexed, searchable and permanent, so the next person with the same problem finds the fix instead of writing the same email. That's also how we prefer to be held accountable — bugs, regressions and rough edges discussed where everyone can see what we did about them.
