Confirming the email address

A link in the mailbox proves the address is yours.

When you make an account yourself, the installation mails you a link that shows the email address is yours. Until you confirm it, the account works, but cannot do the things that start from your address.

01 · Confirming
  1. Open the mail Confirmă adresa de email pe Opensolr Accounting (Confirm your email address on Opensolr Accounting), sent right after you sign up.
  2. Open the link in it. It works once, for 2 days.
  3. On the Confirmă adresa de email (Confirm your email address) page, press Confirmă (Confirm). Adresa de email este confirmată. (Your email address is confirmed.) is shown.

The mail comes in the language of your account. A new link cancels the one before it.

02 · Until then

Contul meu › Profil și limbă (My account › Profile and language) shows: Adresa de email nu este încă confirmată. Până atunci nu poți adăuga firme sau accepta invitații și nu primești mailuri despre tichete și elementele de explicat. (Your email address is not confirmed yet. Until it is, you cannot add companies or accept invitations, and you get no mail about tickets and unexplained items.)

  • Trimite din nou linkul (Send the link again) mails you a new link, within the mail limits of the installation.
  • An invitation opened before confirming is accepted on its own the moment you confirm.
  • A password reset link, once used, confirms the address too.
03 · Without a mail server

The profile then shows Instalarea nu are server de mail: administratorul instalării confirmă adresa. (The installation has no mail server: the administrator of the installation confirms the address.) The superadmin opens the account under Conturi (Accounts), ticks Adresa de email confirmată (bifeaz-o tu când instalarea nu are server de mail) (Email address verified (tick it yourself when the installation has no mail server)) and saves with the authenticator code. The tick can be taken off from there too.

Accounts the superadmin makes under Cont nou (New account) start with the address already confirmed.
