Account admins and companies

The people who add companies, and how the companies hang together.

An account admin is someone who adds companies. Whoever adds a company becomes its Administrator, and can then give it accountants and other members.

The superadmin runs the installation; account admins add companies; each company has its own members.

01 · Who is an account admin
  • Everyone who signs up on their own, when sign-up is open.
  • Anyone the superadmin marks Admin: adaugă firme și le dă contabili (Admin: adds companies and gives them accountants), in Conturi (Accounts).
  • The superadmin itself.

Someone who joined from an invitation works in the companies they were invited to and does not add companies, unless the superadmin makes them an admin.

02 · What an account admin sees

The menu has Firme și contabili (Companies and accountants):

  • Firme (Companies): your companies, with your role in each, Deschide (Open) to switch to one, and Adaugă o firmă (Add a company). See Add a company by its fiscal code.
  • Contabili (Accountants) and Adaugă un contabil (Add an accountant): the accountants of all your companies on one page. See Accountants across companies.

The company you are working on is shown at the top of the menu, under Firma curentă (Current company); a click there changes it.

03 · The Opensolr account of an account admin

Connecting an Opensolr account is optional. When you connect one, once, under Contul meu › Opensolr (My account › Opensolr), the Opensolr Index of each company you add is made in it. It is the only paid part. Without it your companies work the same; their documents are kept but not read or searched, unless the superadmin lets them use the installation's Opensolr account. See Your Opensolr account.

Opensolr Accounting is open source, under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. Questions about the Opensolr account, the Opensolr Indexes or the plan go to opensolr.com/contact; questions about the software itself belong on GitHub.
