Import a sales report

A billing system’s invoices into the sales register.

When the company bills from another system, its paid-invoices report (one row per issued invoice, amounts in EUR and RON at the BNR rate) goes into the sales register from Contabilitate › Import rapoarte (Bookkeeping › Import reports).

01 · The report

A CSV with the columns: invoice number, date, customer name, BNR rate, RON price, RON tax, EUR price, EUR tax, VAT percentage, country and VAT number.

  • Choose it under Raport (CSV) (Report (CSV)) and press Citește raportul (Read the report).
  • Open the read: each row shows the number, date, customer, amount without VAT in lei, VAT regime and status.
  • Check the Contul de venit (Revenue account) (704 by default) and press Contează (Post).
02 · Never booked by guess

A row whose VAT treatment is not certain stays De verificat (For review) with the reason, for example:

  • a Romanian customer without Romanian VAT on the invoice;
  • VAT of another EU country on the invoice (OSS);
  • an EU consumer without a VAT number;
  • foreign VAT on an invoice to a customer outside the EU.

A row already in the sales register is shown as Deja în contabilitate (Already in the books) and not added twice; a refunded one carries a note to register its credit note.
