The public address is the address people open the app at, for example https://contabilitate.firma.ro. The links in mails and invitations, and the callback addresses for ANAF and Dropbox, are all made from it.
01 · Where it comes from
The setup wizard records the address you opened it at. From then on it is in Instalare › Setări › Adresa instalării (Installation › Settings › Address of the installation), field Adresa publică (Public address).
02 · Changing it
- Point the new name at this server and give it an HTTPS certificate in Apache or nginx, like the first one (see Install on a server).
- Write the new address as
https://name.domain, with a path only if the app is not at the root of the site. - Enter the code from your authenticator app and press Salvează (Save).
- Register the new callback address at ANAF (it is shown on the same page, Adresa de callback ANAF, cu această adresă) and the new Redirect URI in your Dropbox app. See The ANAF application and Dropbox.
03 · Only this address is served
Once the setup wizard is finished, the app answers only at the host of the public address and at the host name given to the installer. Any other name pointed at the server gets an error.
