Opensolr Accounting is an accounting web app for Romanian companies. It is open source, under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, and you run it on your own server. Companies are added by their fiscal code with their official data from ANAF, and the accounting follows Romanian law.
Every document is kept once. With an Opensolr account it is also read (with OCR for scans and receipts) and becomes searchable. The books and the returns work the same without one.
- The app is free. Every screen, every company, every user, every feature. There is nothing to unlock inside it.
- The Opensolr account is optional, and the only paid part. Reading the documents (with OCR) and searching them run on Opensolr, in one Opensolr Index per company. The Opensolr plan that holds those indexes is what you pay, at opensolr.com/pricing. Without an Opensolr account all the accounting works; the documents are kept but not read or searched. See Your Opensolr account.
- The installation has one more index, for laws and fiscal news, in the installation's Opensolr account, when the installation has one. Every account searches it.
- The superadmin runs the installation: its address, its settings, its accounts. It is the first account made on it. See The superadmin.
- Account admins add their companies. They sign up for free when the installation has open sign-up, or the superadmin makes their account. See Account admins and companies.
- Accountants and employees work inside the companies they are given, each with a role. An accountant can be given extra rights. See Roles.
Each company connects its own services, from its settings page, by its administrator or by an accountant the administrator allowed: its Opensolr Index (when there is an Opensolr account to hold it), ANAF SPV and e-Factura, REGES-ONLINE, Stripe and Dropbox. What is shared by the whole installation, the public address and the applications registered at ANAF, REGES-ONLINE and Dropbox, is set once by the superadmin in the installation settings.
The app opens in Romanian. English is a full translation that each person can choose. See Language.
