The invoice page

Everything about one invoice, and its payment.

Open any invoice from the lists to see its VAT regime, amounts in its currency and in lei, the BNR rate when it is in another currency, its document, its entry (debit and credit by account), how much is paid and how much is still to pay.

01 · The payment
  • An invoice paid through the bank is marked paid when its movement is posted. See Post a bank movement.
  • To record a payment by hand, write the amount in Suma plătită (Amount paid), in the invoice currency (empty: the whole Rest de plată (Still to pay)), choose the date in Încasată la (Collected on) (issued) or Plătită la (Paid on) (received) and press Înregistrează plata (Record the payment). A smaller amount is a partial payment; more than is still to pay is refused.
  • Plăți (Payments) lists every payment of the invoice: its date, amount, where it came from (bank, Stripe, cash desk or by hand), its entry and, with VAT on collection, the entry that moved its share of the VAT. The invoice is paid when its payments reach its total.
  • With VAT on collection, each payment’s date is when its share of the VAT leaves account 4428, with its own entry; the payment that completes the invoice moves exactly what is left.
  • Anulează (Cancel) next to a payment recorded by hand undoes only that payment. A payment from the bank, Stripe or the cash desk is undone by reversing its entry.
