The company's Opensolr Index

One Opensolr Index per company, made by itself, where the documents are read and searched.

A company gets its own Opensolr Index when there is an Opensolr account to hold it. Opensolr reads the text of its documents there, with OCR for receipts and scans, indexes them and runs the search. Nobody makes it by hand: it is made by itself when the company is added, or when an Opensolr account is connected later.

01 · Where it is made
  • In the Opensolr account of the company's first administrator who connected one.
  • If no administrator has one, and the superadmin allows it, in the installation's Opensolr account.
  • Otherwise the company has no Opensolr Index. Its accounting works the same; its documents are kept but not read or searched until an administrator connects an Opensolr account. See what works without an Opensolr account.

Once made, the Opensolr Index stays in the account it was made in. Its public search page is locked, so the documents are never shown to anyone outside the app.

The index of laws and fiscal news is separate: one per installation, in the installation's Opensolr account, so it exists only when the installation has one. Every account searches it.

02 · Seeing its state

Firma › Index Opensolr (Company › Opensolr index), for the administrators and the accountants allowed to set the connections:

  • Stare (Status): Gata (Ready) or Se pregătește (Being prepared), with the reason when something stops it.
  • Index: the name of the Opensolr Index, or încă nefăcut (not made yet).
  • Documente (Documents): how many of the company's documents are indexed, out of all of them, and a link to those Cu erori (With errors).

The superadmin sees every company's Opensolr Index at once under Instalare › Indexurile firmelor (Installation › Company indexes).

03 · While it is not ready

Documents can be uploaded at any time. Those that come in before the Opensolr Index is ready wait, and are read and indexed as soon as it is.

Opensolr Accounting is open source, under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. Questions about the Opensolr account, the Opensolr Indexes or the plan go to opensolr.com/contact; questions about the software itself belong on GitHub.
