Tagging many photos at once

Add tags to every ticked photo or replace them, and give all of them, or only those without one, the same place.

Tick the photos, then Tag in the selection bar. The sheet that opens, Tag N photos, changes only the photos you ticked. Everything is saved in your index, and every phone follows with its next sync.

01 · My tags (Albums): add or replace
  • Type tags and press Enter or Add; commas add several at once. Suggestions from Your tags and From your photos appear under the box.
  • The switch next to the title says Add or Replace:
    • Add puts your tags on top of the ones each photo already has.
    • Replace makes them the only tags on every ticked photo. Replace with no tag at all takes every tag off them.
  • Save writes the tags, fifty photos at a time, with a bar showing how far it got. If something fails, the sheet stays open and says why.
02 · Place
  • Choose who gets the place: All ticked photos, or Only those without a place, which shows how many have none and leaves the others as they are.
  • Choose the place on the map opens the place picker. The place is saved as soon as you press Use this place, and the sheet closes; tags you typed but did not save are not kept.
03 · Already on these photos

At the bottom, the sheet reads your index and lists the people and the tags the ticked photos already carry, each with how many of them have it, so you see what is there before you add or replace.
