Sharing

Photos full size or as 1024 px copies; clips and PDFs as their own files.

Share sends what you picked to any app on the phone: a chat, an email, a cloud drive. Photos can go full size or smaller; clips and PDFs always go as their own files.

01 · Where it is
  • In the bar at the bottom while selecting. See selecting photos.
  • In the row of actions under a photo, clip or page in the full-screen viewer. See the viewer.
02 · Two sizes for photos
Originals

Full resolution, as taken: the files themselves.

1024 px

Smaller copies, 1024 px on the long edge, turned upright, with the date, camera and place of the original. The copies are made on the phone with Preparing N of M; Cancel stops it. Your photos are not changed.

Then Android's share sheet opens and you pick the app.

03 · Clips, PDFs and mixed picks
  • Only clips or PDFs: there is nothing to choose, the share sheet opens straight away with the files.
  • Pages of one PDF go as that PDF, once, however many pages you ticked.
  • A mix of photos and other files: the dialog says Share N files; the size you pick applies to the photos, and clips and PDFs go as they are.
  • A photo held only in the backend, with the cloud mark, is shared as its 720 px copy. Download it first to share the full file.
