photos_restore

The phone's copy written back into an emptied index, fifty documents per call.

Writes the phone's copy of the index back into an emptied index: after a Reset, a new index configuration, or an index found empty. Whole documents go up, no picture, and no photo is read again.

01 · The call
POST https://api.opensolr.com/solr_manager/api/photos_restore

A JSON body with email, api_key, index_name and docs: up to 50 whole documents per call, as the phone's copy holds them.

It also rewrites a single document the index lost, when photos_words answers NOT_INDEXED.

02 · What Opensolr does
  • Cleans each document and keeps only the fields your index's schema knows.
  • Makes again what the phone never held: the label text, the keys for similar photos and, on a plan with vector search and allowance left, the search vector, one call for the batch.
  • Writes the documents with one request.
03 · The answer, and what it costs
{"status": true, "results": [{"id": "…", "status": true, …}, …]}
  • The app counts every document refused. If any was, the restore stops and the next sync carries on from the last batch that went through.
  • A vector Opensolr has to compute costs a tenth of an AI request; one it still holds costs nothing. No picture is read, so nothing else is charged.

See Re-read, Documents and Reset.

Every call it makes
