Making a PDF from photos

Tick photos, name the file, and get one PDF saved next to the first photo, in your library and on every phone.

Tick photos, press PDF in the selection bar, give the file a name, and the photos become one PDF in your library, the same way the phone app makes one.

01 · Making it
  1. Tick the photos, in any heading or search. Their order in the grid is the order of the pages.
  2. Press PDF. The sheet Save N photos as PDF proposes a name with the date, such as Photos 10-24-2026; change it if you like.
  3. Press Save and wait while the photos are prepared.
02 · What you get
  • One page per photo, made from the original in your backup, at most 1024 pixels on its longest side. A photo whose original cannot be opened goes in from its smaller copy.
  • The PDF is saved in the folder of the first photo, in your backup and in your index, and shows in the grid right away. If that name is taken, a number is added, such as (1).
  • Its pages are searchable like any PDF, and every phone of the account brings the file back.
  • Only photos go in: ticked clips and PDF pages are left out. Up to 1,000 photos per PDF.
  • If some photos could not be read, the message says how many made it, such as 8 of 10 photos.

Making a PDF needs a backup backend, since it works from the original files.
