01 · App updates
App version, the version on this phone, and Check for updates. When a newer version exists, what is new in it and Update to X. See updating the app.
02 · Account info
- Email and Plan; tapping the plan opens your Opensolr account.
- This phone's index: its name,
photos_<ANDROID_ID>__dense. See the phone's index. - Privacy policy and Delete account and data, which open those pages on opensolr.com.
03 · Account stats
- Disk space and BW (search bandwidth this month), each with a bar.
- AI requests this month, with a bar, or No monthly cap.
- Photos per month and Photos left this month: what the allowance covers.
- Search by meaning: Included or Not included.
- Indexes on the account, Photos in the index and Updated (mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss).
The group's badge counts the plan warnings in force. When a limit is reached says what happens: over disk or bandwidth the index stops; out of AI requests, photos are indexed without words. Open your Opensolr account opens it in your browser, and Refresh reads the numbers again; they are also read after every sync. See plan limits.
04 · Settings
- Backup: Use mobile data, Backup quality once a backend is set, and the button to the backend. See backup settings and backup.
- Feedback: the haptic feedback switch. See haptic feedback.
- Language: the app's language. See app languages.
- Places: Locate new photos. See places.
- Search tuning: the Semantic ↔ Lexical Balance and Lexical matching. See search tuning.
- Search cache: how long answers are reused, and Clear cache. See the search cache.
05 · Advanced
- Manage this index in your Opensolr account opens the index in the Opensolr app; without it, the app offers to install it or to open the index on opensolr.com. A regular Opensolr Index, yours to query, export, back up or empty.
- Sign out asks first: syncing stops and this phone forgets your Opensolr account. Your index and the photos in it stay in your account. To sign a phone out from elsewhere, use Account › Devices.
