Your mail index lives in your Opensolr account, so it uses your plan: disk space, bandwidth and AI requests. The app shows all three and tells you before one runs out.
With Fastmail alone there is no plan and no limit here. See signing in.
- Account and Plan.
- Disk space, Bandwidth and AI requests this month, each with how much is used and a bar that turns orange from 90%.
- Search by meaning: Included or Not included.
- Indexes on the account, Documents in the index and when the numbers were Updated.
- Manage this index in your Opensolr account, then Refresh, Dashboard, Sign out and Delete account.
From 90% of disk space, bandwidth or AI requests, a warning shows at the top of the same section.
Every Opensolr package includes AI, with 500 AI requests a month; bigger allowances are on opensolr.com/pricing. In the app, they go to:
- the meaning of each new message, made once when it is indexed;
- searches by meaning, with AI on;
- the AI answer, 1 per answer;
- the chat;
- reading the pictures in your attachments.
How each one is counted, for every Opensolr product: API Quota.
- Out of disk space or bandwidth: Opensolr closes the index. Indexing stops and search runs on Fastmail, by words, until you free space or upgrade, or, for bandwidth, until the month resets.
- Out of AI requests: search goes on by words only, without search by meaning, the AI answer or the chat, until the month resets. New mail gets its meaning later.
- A plan without search by meaning: search works by words only, with no AI answer.
Nothing is lost at a limit: indexing picks up where it stopped. See the plans.
