Limits and messages

Message length, questions per chat, mails per search, one question at a time, and what the chat says when an answer cannot come.

How long a message can be, how many questions fit in one chat, and what the chat says when an answer cannot come.

Questions at a timeOne
  • The length of your message. From 3,000 characters, a counter under the message box shows how many you have written, such as 3,250 / 4,000. At 4,000 it changes color and nothing more can be typed.
  • One question at a time. While an answer is coming, the message box keeps your words and stays where you are typing, but takes no new text, and the Send button turns into a spinner.
  • After 50 questions, the 51st starts a new chat: the earlier questions and answers are cleared and the app says A chat keeps up to 50 questions: a new chat started. You can start one yourself any time with New chat.
02 · When an answer cannot come
  • The answer stops coming for 30 seconds, or runs too long: The answer took too long. Try again.
  • No connection: No connection to Opensolr. Try again.
  • Anything else goes wrong: Sorry, I could not answer that right now. Try again.
  • This month’s AI requests are used up, or the plan has no AI: the same message as the AI answer in Search. See Plan and limits.
