Translating

One command, two language codes or only the target, and the text.

Type /translate, the languages and the text, and the chat answers with the translation.

01 · How to write it
  • Both languages, as codes joined by a hyphen, the language of the text first: /translate en-es What is this? translates from English to Spanish.
  • Only the target language: /translate es What is this?. The language of the text is recognized on its own.
  • Nothing after it: /translate alone answers with its example.

While it works, the progress line says Translating….

02 · How long, and what it uses
  • A text to translate can be up to 10,000 characters.
  • The AI model does the translating, so each /translate uses 1 AI request of your plan. See What it uses from your plan.

All the other commands are in Commands.
