Tap + in the list. A note is three things: an optional title, a category, and the text.
- Title, optional. Without one, the first sentence of the text stands as the title in the list and in search.
- Category, two words. Leave it empty and Opensolr AI sets it when the note is saved. See Categories.
- Text, with bold, italic and underline.
The save button at the top keeps the note on the phone first, then sends it to your index. The back arrow leaves the editor.
The B, I and U buttons sit above the note.
- With text selected, the button puts the mark on the selection, or takes it off when it already has it.
- With nothing selected, the button switches the mark on for what you type next, and off again when tapped a second time.
- Double tap a word to select it.
- Triple tap to select the whole line.
- Press and hold to get the selection handles, and drag them to select exactly what you want.
Tap a note in the list to open it in the same editor, with its creation date at the bottom. Delete, at the top, removes the note from the phone and from your index after a confirmation; so does a swipe to the left in the list.
