Signing a phone out

A lost or sold phone is cut off from your account on opensolr.com, under Account, Devices.

A lost or sold phone can be cut off from your Opensolr account at once, from opensolr.com, without touching the phone.

01 · From opensolr.com

Every phone signed in to your account has its own key, listed in Account → Devices. Sign out there revokes that phone’s key: the app on it can no longer read or write your index. The index and the notes in it stay.

02 · From the phone

Sign out in Settings → Account wipes every note and everything of the account from the phone. Your notes stay in the index; sign in again on any phone and they come back.

Your notes index

Opensolr Notes is open source and MIT licensed. Questions about your Opensolr account, index or plan go to opensolr.com/contact; questions about the app itself belong on GitHub.
