Add a Phone to Your WireGuard Network With a QR Code

Add a phone with one scan

Point your phone at a QR code and it joins your WireGuard network: no keys to copy, nothing to type on the phone.

01 · Show the code

1. Click Show QR for mobile setup and give the phone a name.
2. Click Create device and show QR. The phone is added to your devices with the next free private address, allowed from any network, on this server.

02 · Scan it

1. Install the free WireGuard app on the phone.
2. Tap + › Scan from QR code and point it at the screen.
3. Turn the tunnel on. The window shows Connected. and closes by itself.

The code holds the phone's private key. It is shown once and kept nowhere: when you close the window it is gone. Need it again? Delete the phone in Devices and show a new code.

Want the phone to reach another server too? Tick On this server on its row in Devices on that server. To open protected URLs from the phone, tick it under Who may open it.
