Which emails you get, and who gets them

Emails when your server needs you

Alerts decides which emails you get about your server, and who gets them. Each alert can go to your account email or to the addresses you list.

Where: Servers › My Servers › your server › System › Alerts

Tick each alert you want to receive.
Next to it, type the email addresses, separated by commas. Leave the field empty to use your account email.
Click Save Notification Settings.

Opensolr support receives a copy of every alert, whether you ticked it or not.

Alert	Sent when	Repeats
Server Offline	The server sent no report for more than 10 minutes, and Opensolr could not bring its agent back.	Once per outage
Server Error	Apache or PHP-FPM is still down after 3 automatic repairs. See Health checks.	At most once an hour for the same problem
Disk Space Warning	Disk use is above 85%. Checked every 60 seconds.	At most every 60 minutes while it lasts
High Server Load	CPU has stayed above 90% for 30 minutes or more.	At most every 30 minutes while it lasts
Backup Success, Backup Failed	Listed in the tab. The result of every backup is in the project's Backup Log and on the Backup tab of the Logs bar.	-

Every subject starts with your server's name in brackets, then for example CRITICAL: Server offline, ALERT: Server error, WARNING: Disk usage at and the percentage, or WARNING: High server load. Easy to filter.
There is no setting here for recovery emails. When a service or the whole server comes back, the Monitor and Overview tabs show it.
