Opensolr Embeddable Search UI
Instead of the native page, /opensolr-search can show the Opensolr search widget: the same search page your index has on Opensolr, with its facets, AI features and look, served by Opensolr.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Search Toolbar | Show | Hide it when your theme has its own search box. |
| Initial Search Query | Empty | A search to run when the page opens. A query in the address (?q=) comes first. |
| Result Thumbnails | Show | Page pictures next to the results, or text only. |
| Facet Sidebar | Hide | Shows the filter sidebar. |
| Language Filter | Empty | A language code, like en or de, to show only that language. |
| Locale Filter | Empty | A locale, like en_us, to show only that locale. |
| Pagination Style | Infinite scroll | Infinite scroll or numbered pages. |
| Color Theme | Light | Light or Dark. |
| Layout Width | Default | Standard width, or full width. |
Click Save configuration. Under the settings, Generated Embed Code shows the code the page uses; you can copy it to put the same search on any other website.
What moves to your Opensolr account
The widget is run by Opensolr, so its ranking, filters, pinned results and analytics are set in the Control Panel of your index, not in Drupal. In this mode the Facet Mapping, Search Tuning, Elevation, Filters and Analytics tabs show a note with a link there instead of their settings.
