Opensolr Photos 2.6.2: Map Thumbnails No Longer Turn Dark
Opensolr Photos 2.6.2 fixes one thing on the map: photos that turned into dark squares.
01 Map thumbnails stay put
The map keeps a small number of photo thumbnails in memory. Once you had zoomed in and out enough, the oldest ones left that memory - and a photo whose thumbnail had left was never loaded again, so its marker stayed a dark square. At another zoom level the same group showed a different photo, which is why they seemed to come and go.
Now a thumbnail that leaves the memory is simply loaded again the next time its photo is on screen.
