Opensolr Photos 3.20: Erase People, Things and Text, Straighten, and Set as Wallpaper

· Opensolr Photos · New Feature · All updates

Opensolr Photos 3.20 takes things out of your photos. A stranger in your shot, a cable, a date stamp, a caption: paint over it, or let the app find the text, and the spot is filled from what is around it. It all happens on your phone.

Paint over what should go, tap Erase now, and the place is filled from its surroundings.

01 Erase people and things

  • Paint over it. In the editor, tap Erase and paint with your finger; Size sets the brush.
  • Erase now. A few seconds later the spot is filled from what is around it. Undo brings it back.
  • On the phone, at no cost. A small model inside the app does the work: the photo is never sent anywhere, it works offline and uses no AI requests.

02 Erase text

  • Find text. Every word in the photo gets a box; tap a box to keep that word.
  • Only the letters go. The sky, the band or the wall behind them stays as it was.

03 Straighten

  • Half a degree at a time. The Straighten slider in Crop turns the photo up to 45 degrees either way, with a grid to line the horizon up.
  • No empty corners. Move and resize the crop box anywhere over the turned photo; it stops where a corner would be blank.

04 Copies that come first, and wallpapers

  • Saved next to the original, dated now. A copy from the editor goes in the original's folder and opens your list, under Today, with the camera, the place and the people of the original.
  • Set as wallpaper. The Wallpaper button under a photo puts it on the home screen, the lock screen or both.
