Opensolr Photos 3.28: Your Backup in Your Own Storage, and One Library on Every Phone
Opensolr Photos 3.21 to 3.28 back up your photos to storage you own and keep all your phones showing the same library.
01 A backup that is yours
- Your own storage. Add an S3 bucket or a WebDAV folder, and the app backs up your photos and clips there: originals or lighter copies, your choice.
- Clean, always. A photo you delete, edit or move is deleted, replaced or moved in your backup too. Nothing is left behind and nothing is stored twice.
- A new phone, the same library. Sign in on a new phone and your library comes back from your backup.
- Sizes in Details. Details show how big a photo is on the phone and in your backup.
02 One library on every phone
- Delete once. A photo deleted on one phone goes from the others.
- Edits travel. Tags, people and places you change on one phone show on the others.
- Asked first. Deleting a photo or clip from the full screen view asks for confirmation.
03 A map that holds still
- Grouped by place. Photos are grouped on fixed places of the map, with the exact number in each group, and the groups stay the same when you move the map a little.
- Every photo of a place. Tap a group to see all its photos, loaded as you scroll. Clips show their picture on the map too.
Opensolr Photos updates itself from GitHub. If you installed it before, it offers the new version on its own within a day.
