Opensolr Photos 3.4.1: A Scroll Bar That Holds Still

· Opensolr Photos · Bug Fix · All updates

Three things that were broken in ways only a real phone shows.

01 The bar down the right edge

It was measuring the grid while the grid moved under it, so the map it scrolls by changed with every frame: the bar shivered at both ends. It also counted a group's half empty last line as smaller than it is, so once photos were on screen the bar and the grid no longer agreed about where anything was and the thumb could not be taken hold of. The map is now packed exactly the way the grid packs, its measurements are taken once and held still while a finger is on the bar, and the grid's own padding counts towards the travel, so the bar reaches the last line. It moves inside a line as well, and taps back only when it really changes row.

02 "Select photos..." is an answer

On Android 14 and up the permission dialog offers to share only the photos you pick. The app read that as a refusal and stopped at the permission screen for good. It now takes the choice for what it is and works with the photos you granted.

03 Every language, wherever it came from

The app carries its own language setting, but the bundle could be split by language, so a store would deliver only the phone's own and choosing any other fell back to English. All seven travel with the app again.
