Map

One bubble per country, sized by visits, in the accent when most of them were evasive automation.

Map places every visit in the period at the country it came from. It is the card Where they answered from of the Networks view, given its own entry under Visitors because it answers a question about people.

01 · Reading the map
  • One bubble per country, drawn at the country’s centre. Its area is the number of visits.
  • A bubble in the accent colour means more than half of that country’s visits were scored as evasive automation.
  • Press a bubble for everyone who came from that country: who they were, what they searched for, and every visit behind the number.
  • Country resolution only. A visit is placed at its country, never at a city or a street.
  • Visits whose country could not be placed are counted under the map, not dropped silently.
02 · Where the country comes from

Each address is located through your Opensolr account when the visit is read. If that lookup is not available, Loghound uses the country that comes with the network lookup. Turning geolocation off in the configuration (enrich.geo_enabled) removes every geographic field, and the map stays empty. What leaves the machine lists every outbound lookup.

The same countries, as a table with networks: Networks.
