Pages and zoom

Every page the width of the screen, nothing on the edges, and zoom that stays sharp.

The pages fill the screen. Everything else waits for a tap.

01 · The pages
  • Every page is the width of the screen, one under the other, with a thin line between pages.
  • The status bar and the navigation bar are hidden while you read. Swipe from the edge to see them for a moment.
  • Tap the page to show the controls: Back at the top left, the page number and Share at the bottom. Tap again to hide them.
02 · Zoom
  • Pinch to zoom in and out around your fingers, up to eight times.
  • Double tap to zoom in where you tapped; double tap again to come back to the full width.
  • Once the page stops moving, the part on screen is drawn again at the resolution of the screen, so small print stays sharp.
03 · Moving around
  • Drag to move, fling to let the page glide on and slow down by itself.
  • A zoomed page moves in every direction; at the full width only up and down.
  • Turning the phone keeps your place in the document.
