01 · The code

github.com/phpcip/opensolr-pdf-reader: Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
The pages are drawn by PDFium, through PdfiumAndroidKt; the OCR is Tesseract, through Tesseract4Android, with the eng and ron models of tessdata_fast.

02 · Building it

./gradlew assembleGithubRelease builds the GitHub APK, with the update check; ./gradlew bundlePlayRelease the Google Play bundle, without any network permission.
A signing.properties next to the build file signs the release builds. It is never committed.

03 · Licences

The app: MIT.
PDFium: BSD 3-Clause. PdfiumAndroidKt, Tesseract, Tesseract4Android and tessdata_fast: Apache 2.0. Space Grotesk: SIL Open Font License 1.1.
