Your Opensolr account

Your plan, your indexes, your Data Ingestion jobs and your Solr errors, in the Opensolr Assistant on opensolr.com.

Four commands that read your own Opensolr account: your plan and its limits, your indexes, your Data Ingestion jobs and the errors Solr logged. They are in the Opensolr Assistant on opensolr.com, for you once you are signed in to your Opensolr account.

/account

Your plan, its price and limits (indexes, disk and bandwidth per index, AI requests each month, the features it includes), the AI requests used this month, and a table of your indexes with the documents, disk and bandwidth each one uses.

Example
/account
/index <index name>

One of your Opensolr Indexes: its disk, bandwidth this month and documents against your plan’s limits, the AI requests used, its Solr version and server, when it was created and last written. Write the exact name of the index, or the name of your cluster.

Example
/index my_index
/ingestion <index name>

Your Data Ingestion jobs. With nothing after it: every index of your account with its jobs by state (pending, processing, completed, failed, partially failed) and the reasons of the latest failed jobs. With an index name: that index’s latest jobs, each with its documents written and failed and its error. Jobs are kept 30 days.

Example
/ingestion my_index
/errors <index name>

The latest errors Solr logged for one of your indexes in the last 7 days: when, on which server, and the message. For a cluster, the errors of every server of the cluster.

Example
/errors my_index

  • Only your own account. The commands read the account you are signed in with, and only its indexes. A name that is not one of your indexes answers that the index name is not right.
  • Signed out, they answer that you need to sign in to your Opensolr account.
  • Ask in your own words too. The assistant reads the same data when you ask it, for example why did my last ingestion fail? or how much disk does my_index use?
  • Free. They read your account directly and use no AI request.
  • Where they are. In the Opensolr Assistant on opensolr.com. The chat you put on your own site has the other commands (All commands).

What to do about a failed job: Why ingestion failed.
