What the Site Assistant Costs

The AI requests it uses from your plan

What the Assistant Costs

The assistant runs on Opensolr's servers and uses the monthly AI requests of your Opensolr plan. Most commands use none.

A question

Each question uses a few AI requests, usually about three:

  • one for each step of the assistant that writes something: choosing its searches, a second round of searches when it needs one, and the answer (three steps at most);
  • one for each search by meaning it runs, unless those words were searched before and are still cached.

Commands

CommandAI requests
/time, /rate, /vat, /vatcheck, /distance, /place, /postal, /ip, /helpNone
/search1 for the search by meaning; none when those words are cached
/translate1
/languageNone, or 1 when the text is too short for the language detector and the chat model names the language

Your allowance

Every Opensolr plan includes 500 AI requests a month; the plans page shows larger allowances. How requests are counted, and how many you used this month: API Quota.
