Opensolr Photos 3.5: Stats, Your Library in Numbers
How many photos you take, when, of whom, where and with what, counted on your phone in an instant, with nothing sent anywhere.
01 Stats
The header now reads Me, Sync, Stats, Map, Search. Stats is worked out from the copy of your index the phone already keeps, so it opens instantly on a library of any size and makes no request at all.
- Overview: photos, their size on the phone, and how many are tagged, have people, have a place or have text read out of them.
- When: photos per year, per month, per day of the week and per hour of the day.
- Who, what and where: the people in your photos, your own tags, the things in them, the countries, the cities and the cameras.
- Every section is a chart with its table: name, photos and share of the library. Things lists its 50 biggest.
- Every line opens its photos: tap a year, a person, a tag, a place or a camera and the grid opens on exactly those photos. Back returns to Stats at the same spot.
- Folding: every section starts folded, and the ones you open stay open, even after the app is closed.
02 Who is in a photo, at a glance
Every thumbnail with someone named on it now carries a small person mark, next to the tag mark of the photos you tagged.
03 Cleaner words
The words a photo is read into no longer include rare regional breed names, passport and product names that showed up on photos with nothing to do with them. Photos read from now on get the cleaner words; Re-read in Sync refreshes the ones already in your index.
04 Smaller fixes
- Saving tags no longer clears a photo's region, folder and camera on the phone's copy of the index.
- “Did you mean” and the word it suggests no longer run into each other.
