Drupal Query Elevation: REMOVE Button No Longer Appears on Results With No Elevation Rules

· Drupal · Bug Fix · All updates

In the Drupal module, the Query Elevation REMOVE button appeared on results that had no elevation rules attached to them. It no longer does.

01 The cause

Button visibility was being toggled with inline styles, which put the display state and the hide state in direct conflict — whichever was written last won, regardless of whether the result actually had a rule. Visibility is now controlled through CSS class specificity instead, so the two states no longer fight each other.

Before

REMOVE offered on every result, including ones with nothing to remove.

After

REMOVE appears only where an elevation rule exists.
