Index Management Redesign: Config Files Manager, Backup Manager, Merged Index Tools and AJAX Reload, Reset, Commit and Restart
A redesign pass across the index management screens: less visual clutter, panels that sit where you expect them, and the destructive-looking maintenance actions no longer navigate you away from the page.
01 Config Files Manager
The Config Files Manager has been redesigned with a cleaner panel layout and a styled file selector. A + toggle button reveals the new file form inline, rather than sending you elsewhere to create a file.
Upload notes are now hidden by default behind an info button in the section header, which cuts a large block of standing text out of the page.
02 Backup Manager
The Backup Manager has been redesigned too, with styled action buttons carrying icons and a cleaner layout. Available Backup Files and the Restore Actions Log now display side by side, so you can see what exists and what was done to it in one view.
03 Index Tools merged into one panel
Delete By Query and Utilities were two separate things doing related work. They are merged into a single unified Index Tools panel with a cleaner design.
04 Maintenance actions run in place
Reload, Reset, Commit and Restart now run via AJAX, with a modal dialog showing a loading spinner and the result status, instead of navigating away from the page.
Triggering Reload, Reset, Commit or Restart navigated away from the page, and you came back to find out what had happened.
The action runs over AJAX and a modal shows the spinner and then the result, with the page still in front of you.
