API - VAT rates of a country (vat_rates)

Geolocation

Gives you the standard VAT rate of a country and its reduced rates by category, up to 30 countries in one call.

01 · Parameters

country_codeOne of the two

One two-letter country code. EL and UK work for Greece and the United Kingdom.

Up to 30: an array, a JSON array, or separated by commas, semicolons or spaces.

results is keyed by each code as you sent it. A country the rates table does not hold answers ERROR_NO_VAT_RATES_FOR_COUNTRY. Values shown are an example.

04 · Errors

ERROR_NO_COUNTRY_SUPPLIEDHTTP 200

No country code. The answer carries max_countries.

ERROR_MAX_30_COUNTRIES_PER_CALLHTTP 200

More than 30.

ERROR_INVALID_COUNTRY_CODE, ERROR_NO_VAT_RATES_FOR_COUNTRY, ERROR_VAT_RATES_UNAVAILABLEHTTP 200

WRONG_API_HOSTHTTP 404

Called on opensolr.com. The answer carries the right URL.

ERROR_AUTHENTICATION_FAILEDHTTP 403

The email and API key do not match.

ERROR_RATE_LIMIT_PER_MINUTEHTTP 429

Too many calls. Wait for the Retry-After seconds.

Each call counts once toward your per-minute and per-hour limits, whatever the number of items: Rate limits. Lookups never use the AI allowance.
