Web Crawler Flush to Solr Now Reports Flushed Documents and Commits Immediately
The Flush to Solr button in the Web Crawler always reported that the buffer was empty, even when documents had in fact been flushed. It now tells you the truth, and commits on your behalf.

Before
Buffer is empty — every time, regardless of how many documents were actually flushed.

The number of documents flushed, correctly reported.
02 A commit follows the flush
Flushing now automatically commits afterwards, so your documents become searchable immediately. There is no longer any waiting for the next auto-commit cycle before a flushed document turns up in results.
