Solr 10 Is Now Available on Opensolr

Opensolr now runs Apache Solr 10. A new environment in New York is ready for new indexes, with vector search and hybrid ranking working out of the box.

01 What you get

  • Solr 10, ready to use. Choose the Solr 10 environment in New York (US-EAST) when you create an index.
  • Vector and hybrid search. Search by meaning and the Opensolr hybrid ranking work on Solr 10 the same way they work on Solr 9.
  • One config set. The Web Crawler and Data Ingestion config set you already use on Solr 9 works on Solr 10 as it is.

02 Your existing indexes

  • Nothing changes for them. An index keeps the Solr version it was created on. Moving to Solr 10 means a new index and a reindex from your source.
  • Every version and location you can pick is listed live on the Solr hosting page.
