Facet Filter Mapping: Display Order No Longer Lost When Filtering the Field List
In Facet Filter Mapping, searching the field list, ticking a field and clearing the search shuffled the enabled facets back into alphabetical order, and a field ticked while the list was filtered could jump ahead of the ones already ordered. The enabled group now keeps the order you set, and a newly ticked field always joins at the end of it.
01 The two things that went wrong
- Clearing the search re-sorted the enabled facets alphabetically. The order column still showed your numbers, but the rows were no longer in that order, so the next Save could store something you did not see.
- A field ticked while filtering took its row position as its order. A field near the top of the list, ticked under a filter, could land ahead of everything you had already arranged.
02 Nothing to redo
Saved configurations are untouched. If an index picked up an odd order number from the old behaviour, dragging any row once renumbers the whole group. The dialog is under Index Settings, Search Facet Filters.
