Order, Login & Get Started with Opensolr
Everything you need to place your first order, choose the right plan, and troubleshoot any login or checkout issues.
How to Order a New Opensolr Index
Placing a new order on Opensolr takes under two minutes. Here is the process:
Every plan is fully customizable. The presets (Small, Medium, Large) are just starting points — use the sliders on the Pricing page to add or remove indexes, disk space, and bandwidth until the configuration matches your needs exactly.
Opensolr Pricing Plans at a Glance
Opensolr uses component-based pricing: you pay only for the resources you actually need. Every plan includes HTTPS encryption, HTTP authentication, the full Automation API, the Management Control Panel, and real-time monitoring and analytics.
| Plan | Indexes | Disk | Bandwidth | Starting Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 1 | 100 MB | 20 GB | €21 /mo |
| Medium | 3 | 500 MB | 100 GB | €42 /mo |
| Large | 5 | 1 GB | 200 GB | €63 /mo |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Custom | Custom | €550 /mo |
All plans are billed monthly. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time — billing is pro-rated automatically, so you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your billing cycle.
Need more indexes, disk space, or bandwidth than what a preset includes? Simply move the sliders on the Pricing page to build a custom configuration. For high-availability production workloads, consider an Opensolr Resilient Cluster with automatic failover and dedicated infrastructure. Fixing Login Issues
If you keep getting redirected back to the login page, or the page seems to reload without logging you in, the cause is almost always stale browser cookies.
Clear Your Opensolr Cookies
Open your browser settings, search for opensolr.com in stored cookies, and delete all matching entries. Then close the browser completely and reopen it before trying again.
Try Incognito Mode or a Different Browser
If clearing cookies doesn't help, open an incognito / private browsing window or switch to a different browser entirely (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). This rules out cached data and browser extensions interfering with the login.
Check Your Email Address
Make sure you are logging in with the exact email you registered with. If you are unsure, search your inbox for the original Opensolr welcome email.
Reset Your Password
Forgot your password? Use the password reset page. A reset link will be emailed to you. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
Payment Methods & Checkout Troubleshooting
Opensolr accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed securely through Stripe, as well as PayPal. If one method doesn't work, try the other.
Make sure your card is enabled for international online transactions. Some banks block cross-border payments by default — a quick call to your bank usually resolves this instantly.
Ad blockers and privacy extensions can prevent the Stripe payment form from rendering. Temporarily disable them or try incognito mode.
You can update your card or switch to PayPal at any time from the Billing Management portal.
After Your Order — What Happens Next
Once your order is confirmed, your Opensolr index is provisioned instantly. You'll receive a welcome email with your index endpoint and credentials. From there you can:
- Push data using the Data Ingestion API, CSV upload, MySQL import, or XML import
- Tune search relevancy with the Search Tuning controls
- Enable backups via the Backup Manager
- Set up security with HTTP Authentication and IP access rules
- Monitor everything with real-time analytics and API usage dashboard
